Polydextrose is a water-soluble dietary fiber synthesized from glucose, sorbitol and citric acid through thermal polymerization. With excellent solubility and stability, it serves as bulking agent, texture improver and fiber fortifier in foods. It provides only 1 kcal/g with no glycemic impact while delivering the nutritional benefits of dietary fiber.

Soluble fiber: Excellent water solubility and processing properties
Low calorie: Only 1 kcal/g, ideal for low-cal product development
Texture improver: Provides bulk and mouthfeel, can replace fat
Prebiotic function: Promotes beneficial gut bacteria growth
pH stable: Performs well in acidic food systems
